India to Invest ₹5 Lakh Crore in Power Grid Modernisation during 2027–2032: InVed Report
India is set to transform its power transmission infrastructure with a ₹4.91 lakh crore investment between 2027 and 2032, as per InVed. The plan, aligned with the National Electricity Plan, prioritizes high-voltage transmission, HVDC capacity, and smart grid integration. With only ₹3 lakh crore of ₹9 lakh crore projects allotted so far, the next four years present major opportunities in the power and renewable energy sectors.
